Dems destroy each other, gang up on Bloomberg at Nevada Democrat debate

On Wednesday, 2020 Democrat presidential candidates met in Las Vegas, Nevada to rough each other up before the Nevada caucuses.

From the gate, Sen. Elizabeth Warren began attacking former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg by saying, “I’d like to talk about who we’re running against: a billionaire who calls women ‘fat broads’ and ‘horse-faced lesbians’—and no, I’m not talking about Donald Trump. I’m talking about Mayor Bloomberg. Democrats are not going to win if we have a nominee who has a history of hiding his tax returns, of harassing women, and of supporting racist policies like ‘redlining’ and ‘stop and frisk.’”

When Mayor Bloomberg was asked if there was a chance of Sanders winning against President Trump, he said, “I don’t think there’s any chance whatsoever.”

Sen. Elizabeth Warren criticized former South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg’s health care plan, saying, “It’s not a plan, it’s a PowerPoint.” She also dug into Minnesota’s Sen. Amy Klobuchar’s plan, saying “It’s like a Post It note. Insert plan here.”

Buttigieg dug into socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT), saying, “Let’s put forward someone who’s actually a Democrat.”

Sanders said he got “excellent care” while in Nevada (Desert Springs), which is … a private hospital, killing the narrative of his “public” option.

Amy Klobuchar tried and failed to remember the Mexican president’s name, and was confronted on the issue at the debate.

Warren went after Bloomberg’s sexual harassing past with his “nondisclosure agreements,” which he seemed to not be able to give an adequate answer for in her opinion.

Joe Biden tried to knock Bloomberg on transparency while the American people still don’t know about details of Biden’s Ukrainian and Chinese dealings.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar and Mayor Buttigieg went after each other about Klobuchar’s inability to name the Mexican president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

Bloomberg later bragged about closing 304 coal-fired powerplants.

While candidates bickered about socialism versus candidates, Bloomberg said, “I can’t think of a way that would make it easier for Donald Trump to get re-elected than listening to this conversation.”

After Buttigieg spoke Spanish, Klobuchar said, “I wish everyone was as perfect as you, Pete.”

After getting a lecture from Pete Buttigieg, Amy Klobuchar hit the young mayor, saying, “You’ve memorized a bunch of talking points”
