Biden ad invokes his ‘faith,’ the Pope months after priest denied him Communion over abortion stance

On Tuesday, Democrat presidential candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden invoked his faith in a new ad targeting Nevada voters.

The video featured quotes such as “faith is what has gotten me through difficult times in my life,” with photos of the Pope and Christian congregants interlaced between photos of him.

In the Tweet read, “Faith is what has gotten me through difficult times in my life. It provides hope, purpose, and strength. And it is what gives me the reason to believe that our nation’s best days still lie ahead.”

The ad comes out months after a Florence, South Carolina priest denied Biden Holy Communion over the former Vice President’s pro-abortion stance, which the priest said places him “outside of Church teaching.”
