On Sunday, the First Couple dazzled while President Trump acted as the grand marshal of the Daytona 500 in Daytona, Florida, where he revved up the crowd in the 100,000 stadium with his command, “Gentlemen, start your engines!”
The First Couple brought all the fanfare possible as they kicked off the day with a dramatic Air Force One flyover and a couple of laps around the track in the president’s 22,000-pound limousine, “the Beast.”
The crowds in patriotic style shouted, “USA! USA! USA!” and “Four More Years” as the President and First Lady began his duties.
During his remarks, the President said, “NASCAR fans never forget that no matter who wins the race, what matters most is God, family, and country.” He remarked that the NASCAR race was “pure American glory.”
