On Tuesday, Vermont reporter Abby Fridman tweeted that billionaire Tom Steyer dropped out of 2020 Democrat race for President, but Politico contradicted that claim, saying Steyer has indeed not dropped out. The news comes following two Democrat candidates, Sen. Michael Bennet (D-CO) and Andrew Yang, who announced they were dropping out minutes after each other.
As results trickle in, around 9:00 p.m. EST, Bernie Sanders is leading the field with 27% and 48% of precincts reporting, but in a dead heat with former South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg, who is closing in with 24%.
CNN reported that former Vice President Biden and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), won’t make the 15% threshold to earn any delegates from New Hampshire.
