On Monday, NBC News published an article featuring seven Republicans in the state of Utah who either support Sen. Willard “Mitt” Romney (RINO-UT) or at least condone his decision to vote with radical Democrats to convict President Trump.
The people interviewed by NBC News included people who work for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Salt Lake City financial planners, and retirees.
Some were quoted as saying, “I was fine with Romney — he had his reasons for it.” Others said they disagreed with Romney’s decision, but contended that “if you’re going to be true to what you think is correct, then that’s fine with me.”
The bigger question is how NBC News found seven whole subjects to get a positive opinion of Romney after his conviction vote, especially given Romney’s sharp decline in popularity weeks before he voted against President Trump.
