On Saturday, during a speech in Iowa, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), was confronted by a supporter who apparently proposed to her while she was on stage.
The man approached her on the stage from her right and took a knee while holding a ring. Warren backed away, paused for a few seconds, then tried to blow off the unidentified man, while he tried to introduce her to his friend, “Dale.” She gave him a hug, saying, “You know, it’s always exciting to be in Iowa.”
At the end, Warren turned to her husband, asking, “Are you okay with this, sweetie?”
