A newly-published video of Democrat presidential candidate Tom Steyer shows the billionaire comparing his father’s fight against the Nazis to his fight to try and impeach President Trump.
Steyer said, “So he was in the Navy, and after the war, because he had a law degree—he was a lawyer—they made him assistant to the chief prosecutor of the Nazi war criminals of the Nuremberg trials. So, he actually, after the war prosecuted those people and [it] was a huge event for him, and he told my two big brothers and me, ‘If you see something wrong in the country, make sure you fight it as fast and as hard as you can because they didn’t do that in Germany, and something happened there that was almost unimaginable.’”
Steyer then continued, “And honestly, that’s why I started the ‘Need to Impeach’ movement. Over two years ago, I thought, ‘there’s something terribly wrong at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.’ And I started a petition drive. Over eight and a half million Americans signed that petition to say, ‘this guy (Trump) has to be held to account.’”
