On Wednesday, after an event in Iowa, presidential candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden was pressed by a CBS reporter about why he did criticize Sen. Bernie Sanders. The reporter questioned him, “Why attack Sanders?”
Annoyed, he turned around and screamed at the reporter, “why why why why why why why! You’re getting nervous man! Calm down! It’s okay!”
He then said, “[Bernie] apologized for saying that I was corrupt. He didn’t say anything about whether or not I was telling the truth about Social Security. He then lightly pounded the horrified reporter’s face and then walked off.
The outburst would not be the first, but shows how irritable the former vice president can get when provoked or pressed. Biden is one of the only presidential frontrunners campaigning in Iowa, as many other candidates who serve in the U.S. Senate are at the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump.
