On Tuesday, while speaking at an event targeting minority black and brown voters, South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg, who has abysmal 2% approval rating with voters, said he prefers Popeyes chicken to Chick-fil-A.
Buttigieg was asked to choose between the two chicken restaurants, and he replied, “Popeyes.”
But this comes in contrast to when he praised Chick-fil-A, saying “I do not approve of their politics, but I kind of approve of their chicken.”
So, which side is the South Bend Mayor on in regard to chicken? Or more importantly, why is he being asked such idiotic questions at a forum meant to see if he’s got the stuff to hold the highest office in the land.
