New audio just released tonight from CNN reveals what Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders were quarreling about shortly after the Democrat debate, where Bernie was challenged on an alleged comment about women not being able to win the presidency, which he vehemently denied.
“I didn’t say that.” Sanders continued, “It’s incomprehensible that you could think I don’t believe a woman could be the president of the United States.”
Now, the conversation has been revealed, and here’s what Sanders and Warren allegedly said, according to CNN:
Warren: “I think you called me a liar on national TV?”
Sanders: “What?”
Warren: “I think you called me a liar on national TV.”
Sanders: “No — let’s not do it right now. You want to have that discussion, we’ll have that discussion—
Warren: “Anytime.”
Sanders: “You called me a liar, you told me — alright, let’s not do it right now.”
It appears the two are planning to hash their disagreement out later on, possibly when they get back to Washington for key votes in the Senate, potentially even an impeachment vote.
