If you thought you have already had your maximum dose of dyed-in-the-wool social justice warrior nonsense to last a lifetime, brace yourself: it’s apparently only begun.
Make your way over to IntersectionalityScore.com to see just how “oppressed” you are based on your age, sexual identity, household income, and more! If you’re not a pink hat-wearing Elizabeth Warren or Pete Buttigieg supporter, you might not know what the term “intersectionality” means in the SJW dictionary, so the folks at this website provide a definition:
Intersectionality — “The theory that the overlap of various social identities, such as race, gender, and sexuality, define your level of systemic oppression.”
Apparently “yes” and “no” questions are too offensive, so to answer each question on the survey, you must slide your way to your answer. According to the website, “We believe that people fit along a spectrum of identities. For example, you might be slightly bisexual, somewhat poor, Jewish but rarely wear a yarmulke, and native born but travel frequently abroad. By having the option to be ‘somewhere in the middle,’ this gives a more accurate assessment of your intersectionality score.”
Apparently, this quiz is triggering to some who have a peanut allergy, so the website felt the need to apologize , writing, “We know that 100s of other factors such political affiliation, height, attractiveness, weight and even peanut allergies can impact your personal intersectionality score. Hopefully, we will be able to address these factors in the future.”
So, go ahead, see how “oppressed” you are! I scored a 34, whatever the heck that means. Apparently a higher score means “being faced with more challenges to get ahead than someone who has a lower score.” Elizabeth Warren would probably score in the 5-10 range.
