Trump approves of Shepard Smith’s replacement on Fox News

Late Monday night, President Donald Trump took to Twitter to announce his support for Fox News Channel’s Bill Hemmer, who will take over liberal Shepard Smith’s 3:00 p.m. Eastern time slot with a new show, “Bill Hemmer Reports.”

President Trump wrote, “A great choice. Bill is a winner!”

Earlier this month, Hemmer took on extreme liberal New York State Assemblyman Michael Blake, who bashed the network while Hemmer invited him to speak about the 2020 Democrat field.

Hemmer said, “Listen, I didn’t bring you on to bash our network, so with all due respect, why don’t we just keep it on topic?… it is not relevant to the conversation we are having. Save it for later.”

The fiery exchange, which Hemmer’s unabashed defense of the network may have helped him seal the deal in his 3 p.m. time slot.

  1. Of course not. It wd take a criminal action on his part. The Dems’ leadership committees crimes and says he is guilty. They are the criminals and I pray they are brought to justice!
