Pelosi wrote out $2k checks to vulnerable House Dems before impeachment inquiry vote

According to third-quarter FEC reports filed in October, Nancy Pelosi’s congressional campaign dispursed dozens of $2,000 checks to vulnerable Democrat House incumbents, which may or may not have swayed their vote on Pelosi’s impeachment inquiry into President Donald J. Trump.

The impeachment inquiry vote, held on Halloween, garnered a result of 232 for and 196 against. All Republicans and two Democrats voted against the resolution, the two Democrats being Rep. Collin Peterson (MN-7), and Jeff Van Drew (NJ-2).

The vulnerable incumbents Pelosi gave $2,000 checks to included Reps. Andy Levin (D-MI), Sean Casten (D-IL), Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA), Jason Crow (D-CO), Susie Lee (D-NV), Xochitl Torres Small (D-NM), Lucia Kay McBath (D-GA), Kim Schrier (D-WA), Gilbert Cisneros (D-CA), Elaine Luria (D-VA), Kendra Horn (D-OK), Lauren Underwood (D-IL), Antonio Delgado (D-NY), Cindy Axne (D-IA), and Abby Finkenauer (D-IA).

All of the incumbents were first-term Democrats, except for one, Raul Ruiz (D-CA), however, all of these House members represent swing districts that are either Republican-leaning, politically even, or only 1-2% leaning Democrat.

Pelosi gave three donations during the quarter three filing period to candidates running in 2020, who are not incumbent members of the House: former Texas state Senator Wendy Davis, Betsy Dirksen Londrigan of Iowa, and Eugene DePasquale of Pennsylvania.

It is unclear if Pelosi’s donations to vulnerable House Democrats influenced their votes for impeachment, however, the gesture by Pelosi seems to be a bargaining chip for these vulnerable Democrat House incumbents

  1. If it is moneys they recieved came from what Pelosi pulled from the social security that was pulled for the purpose of paying for the hearings. Then she is guilty of buying voted

  2. It would be easier to use this site as a source of you liked to the FCC filing. It’s difficult to argue MSM programming when alternative sources are deemed as unreliable. Thank you for trying to get the truth out anyway.
