During Wednesday’s MSNBC Democrat debate, former Vice President Joe Biden brought up violence against women when asked about helping women overcome obstacles.
He said, “No man has the right to raise a hand to a woman in anger, other than in self-defense, and that’s rarely ever occurs [sic]. And we have to change the culture, period. And keep punching at it, and punching at it, and punching at it.”
Fellow candidates Sens. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) and Kamala Harris (D-CA) could be seen pursing their lips (in apparent attempts at holding back laughter).
