Sen. Kennedy shakes countless hands before Louisiana Trump rally

On Wednesday night, before President Trump arrived at his “Keep America Great” rally, Louisiana Sen. John Kennedy took the time to shake countless supporters’ hands before the show.

He walked up and down near the stage, taking photos and shaking hands with supporters, in his signature folksy way.

Normally, on breaks from his job as a senator on Capitol Hill, he substitute teaches at Louisiana schools, as he has a huge appreciation for teachers. He has even introduced legislation requiring senators to volunteer in a public school once a year.

Wednesday’s show of support for the common man is a testament to Kennedy’s commitment to keeping the people first and remembering who got him to where he is today in the U.S. Senate. Just like Trump, it appears Kennedy loves people and looks to help President Trump keep America great.
