ELECTIONS: Dems win VA House & Senate, GOP win in MS, KY gov wants recount

On Tuesday evening, as results came in for 2019’s elections in Kentucky, Mississippi, and Virginia, it appears large city areas in most states decided the elections for the states splattered in red.

Kentucky

Incumbent Gov. Matt Bevin fought a tough fight, with President Trump stumping for him on Monday night, however, well-connected Democrat political royalty Andy Beshear squeaked over the finish line to reclaim the governorship for Democrats, as reported by MSNBC.

Bevin took to the stage after results were in, announcing he is refusing to concede the incredibly close election, asking a judge for a recount.

Republican Daniel Cameron won the Attorney General’s race in Kentucky.

Virginia

Although the results are not final in the Old Dominion State, the Democrats reclaimed the state Senate and House for the first time since 1994, definitively winning 21 seats in the Senate and 52 seats in the House of Delegates, showing the Democrat party in the state, led by black-face wearing, infanticide-endorsing Gov. Ralph Northam leading the charge to their victory. Northam campaigned for many Democrats running, who somehow forgot about his racist wardrobe choices.

Delegate Kathy Tran, who introduced legislation allowing infanticide won her race by a plurality.

Mississippi

The final results are in, and former Lieutenant Governor, now Governor-elect Tate Reeves has won Mississippi governor’s race,

The trend towards blue in Virginia is mostly due to a federal court’s decision to help Democrats win majorities and snatch voices away from rural voters by gerrymandering districts to favor liberals. The new majorities will allow Democrats to ram through partisan legislation, such as late-term abortion and infanticide, funds for criminal aliens, most likely environmental legislation, and gun restrictions.
