On Thursday morning, it was announced that veteran Fox News Chief Intelligence correspondent Catherine Herridge is leaving the network to join CBS as their Senior Investigative Correspondent.
Herridge joined Fox News at its inception in 1996 and has been with the network ever since.
According to CBS News’ statement, Herridge “will report original investigations and cover national security and intelligence matters that impact the country.”
The Harvard and Columbia-educated journalist, who has won an award for her work from the Congressional Medal of Honor Society, should be a loss for Fox, as her hard-hitting journalism has covered everything from Hillary Clinton in her races for Senate, to the recent Mueller Report.
Human Events’ Will Chamberlain wrote on Twitter, “She’s genuinely very good, a loss for Fox,” in reaction to the news.
